David was invited as a guest artist in Fruiting Bodies, a group exhibition by the London-based sculptors’ collective Changeable Beast. Set within the atmospheric Old Parcels Office Artspace in Scarborough, the exhibition brought together over two dozen works exploring transformation, organic growth, and the porous boundaries between nature and the body.

For the show, Kefford presented a new sculptural assemblage titled (Un)Bound Entity, created specifically in response to the exhibition's themes and site. Embracing his ongoing interest in hybrid forms, material precarity, and intuitive making, the work echoed the exhibition’s central metaphor—the fruiting body—as a vessel for fragility, mutation, and renewal.
