Temporary Monument for Collective Memory | walkaround | 2009 from David Kefford on Vimeo.
"David Kefford's works reveal a subtle and unexpected alteration of the everyday and an exploration of the human condition. Working with a variety of media from drawing, painting and montage to sculpture using disregarded materials, Kefford brings together objects that 'speak' to one another. For this exhibition, Kefford has created a new theatrical environment within the gallery space to act as a viewing platform for his various works. This cabinet of curiosities reveals a collection of works created over the last year that together project an ambiguous and atmospheric scene that evokes the uncanny, the absurd, the humorous and the emotionally tragic in life"
