2005
Over a 3-day period in July at 20-21 Visual Art Centre's outdoor sculpture courtyard space, David worked with a small group of art students and recent graduates to transform a group of every day household objects into a site-specific installation.
David and his assistants started with a collection of discarded objects. These included a car, a wardrobe, a child’s garden slide, a washing machine and a wicker chair. The team then dismantled, rearranged, padded and wrapped these items to make a colourful and dynamic sculptural installation.
Throughout the three days, David and his helpers used hundreds of metres of coloured sticky tape to dramatically transform the original objects.
